Advent at Christ Presbyterian Church: The Voices of Christmas
Each year we hear the story of the birth of Jesus Christ, the long-awaited Anointed One from God. Because the story is so familiar, we tend to gloss over what the characters in the story really thought and felt about what was happening. Not only that, but we concentrate on the major characters and never take the time to consider there may be other “voices” that have contributed to the story. This Advent, as we wait for the day when the Christ Child is born on earth, we will listen for what the biblical personalities have to say to us, here in our society today.
