Located at Christ Presbyterian Church in the Allendale-Camp Hill PA neighborhood of the West Shore School District (Highland Elementary), our weekday preschool provides the community’s three, four, and five year old students with a challenging, interesting and friendly classroom in which they can grow and develop socially, spiritually, emotionally, physically and intellectually.

2026-2027 Registration

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open and will be completed online.  Registration links can be found under the “Registration” tab.


2025-2026 Classes 

Inchworms/PreK-3 – Tuesday-Thursday, 9-11:30 am *Class is full. Children must 3 by September 1 of the current school year. Children must be toilet trained.

Caterpillars/PreK-4 – Tuesday-Friday, 9-11:30 am *Class is full.  This class is ideal for children who will not be entering Kindergarten the following September. Children must be 4 by September 1 of the current school year.

Butterflies/PreK-4/5 – Tuesday-Friday, 9 am-1:00 pm *We have 2 openings in this class for the current school year.  Please contact the director for more information. This class is ideal for children who will be entering Kindergarten the following September. Children must be 4 by September 1 of the current school year.

Lunch Bunch:
Optional program for PreK-3 and PreK-4
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, October – May
Students pack a lunch and eat at school.
$15 per day or $25 for both days in the week.

Our classes meet September thru May. 

Age Requirements

Children must be age three, four or five by September 1st of the current school year, and must be potty-trained.

Curriculum

A balanced program of art, music, language arts, coordination skills and free play. Opportunities for creative expression teach sociability and responsibility through experiences such as field trips, puppets, easel painting, blocks, music, outdoor play, play dough, stories, role-playing and puzzles.

Objectives

  • To develop a good self-image and encourage the joy of learning in each child.
  • To provide opportunities for social development and adjustment to a classroom environment.
  • To promote good health and safety habits.
  • To develop gross and fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination through play and physical activity.
  • To encourage self-expression in language, art, and play in creative atmosphere.
  • To develop age-appropriate communication and listening skills.
  • To lay a foundation for future educational experiences.

Facilities

The light and spacious classrooms are on the main floor of the building, within easy access of the parking lot. A well maintained, fenced playground featuring a sandbox, climbing equipment, a seesaw, stepping stones, and a chalkboard is used during favorable weather. During inclement weather, playtime takes place in Fellowship Hall, where children ride tricycles, play with balls and hula hoops, and use the tumbling mat or balance beam. All doors to the church are locked for security during school hours.
