MUSIC FOR THE SEASON CONCERT

NOVEMBER 24, 2024
3:30 PM

Keesecker, a composer and church musician as well as performer, is known around the country for his sensitive, delightful, and meditative piano arrangements of hymns. At this concert, we'll be able to sing some of them together, as well as listen to his interpretations. The hymns will be interspersed with poetry by Mary Oliver and Wendell Berry, two of the most beloved and profound poets of the 20th and 21st centuries.

OCTOBER COLLECTION

THROUGH 10/27
ANYTIME

With the opening of the new WSSD intermediate buildings for grades five and six, come new opportunities to support children in our community. Staff at Fairview Intermediate School (FVIS) has created a personal care closet (there may be up to 4 of them in the building so that they are close to the kids’ homerooms). The closet(s) will house hygiene and other items that kids can grab and use if they have an emergency, have forgotten something that day, or if their family is going through a rough time and isn’t able to provide the items.
