We are all lifelong faith learners.
Faith formation is a lifelong journey. We don’t outgrow our questions or ever reach a point where we have faith all figured out. From childhood through adulthood, we keep learning, wondering, wrestling, growing, and discovering what it means to follow Jesus. At CPC, faith formation is about creating space for people of all ages to explore faith, build relationships, ask honest questions, and grow together. How will you make space for your faith to grow this season?
Children birth through age four are invited to a space of play-based learning on the first and second Sundays beginning at 9:00 a.m., where they’ll hear stories of faith and begin building relationships within our community.
Children in Kindergarten through third grade meet the first and second Sundays at 9:30 a.m. to discover the different parts of worship in fun, age-appropriate ways while gaining the joy and confidence of helping to lead the congregation the following week.
Youth in fourth through twelfth grades meet the first and second Sundays at 9:00 a.m. to explore new ways of engaging their faith while preparing to help lead worship the following week.
Hard Questions, Real World: Adults of all ages are invited to meet the first three Sundays of the month at 9:00 a.m. to study Scripture and wrestle with how our Reformed Christian faith shapes the way we respond to evil, injustice, violence, and deep disagreement. All ages are invited to a morning of good food and catching up beginning at 9:15 a.m. This potluck-style brunch relies on everyone pitching in, so please sign up ahead of time to bring something. Monthly sign-ups are available at https://bit.ly/CPC-Brunch or at the welcome table in the lounge.
A blend of fellowship, arts, service and activities, Wednesday Night Live provides youth (from a variety of congregations and faith backgrounds) a place to gather mid-week to build community.
